Sally continues into the cable car without having to turn in her ticket.Ī cutscene plays as soon as Sally enters the cable car. When Sally returns to the booth, the lights are shut off and the man has disappeared. The player will then proceed to the ticket dispenser with a rough, porous ticket sticking out. Sally asks for permission to ride without a ticket, but is told that one is required to enter a cable car, no exceptions. The Old Man will be in the cable car booth, asking Sally if she has a ticket before entering. After travelling through stairs, Sally will eventually find the cable station. The player has to push a cart that blocks the pathway to the next door. Sally will eventually find a mini cabin and enter. The player must continue to follow the signs, evading the bullies' flashlights as they do so. Sally then finds an arrowed sign that reads "Cable Car". The player will continue into the snowy trench, ducking underneath tree trunks and bridges as they do so. With her bike now busted, Sally has no other choice but to find another way back to her town. She then tumbles down a snowy hill, ultimately damaging her bike in the process. She gets distracted by her posters flying out of her bike's front basket, which results in her colliding with a road railing. Sally hops onto her bike and pedals down a mountain pass in hopes of escaping. ![]() The screen will then open onto a cutscene of Sally being approached by children with flashlights and bikes, presumably bullies. Sally would then say," But I'm not giving up. The player will place one final poster on a tree before the screen fades into black once more. stopped looking." The screen then opens again but now Sally appears to be outside of town during the evening. After a certain amount of posters placed the screen will fade into black and Sally will say," Most people lost hope after a few weeks. The player will continue to display posters. The time period also shifted to appear to be around sunset. The screen then opens back onto Sally but in a further part of town. After the player places a certain amount of posters, the screen fades into black along with Sally saying," Emily. As she's doing this, she mutters to herself," I can't believe its been over a month now.". ![]() The story starts off with Sally displaying missing posters of her cousin Emily Kauffman around the town. She carries a light blue-grayish mini backpack on her back throughout the game and never removes it. Underneath her trench coat, she dons a white turtleneck. She wears a maroon buttoned up trench coat with black buttons, light flooded jeans, and red sneakers. She appears to have heterochromia with her right eye appearing green and her left being brown. Her brunette brown hair reaches to her shoulders with her bangs parted to the left, however in cutscenes her hair is black. As for the rest of Stadia’s exclusive, we still don’t know much about whether or not they’ll live on.Sally is a young white skinned girl of average height. It sounds like the developers of Gylt may have been considering this move even without the news of Stadia’s shutdown, but it’s great to hear nonetheless. In any case, we’re glad to see the game on track for a release follow Stadia’s death back in January. The game comes with minimum requirements including a GTX 1070, Intel Core i7 processor, and 16GB of memory, which seems a bit high. ![]() Update 5/8: Gylt has recently arrived on Steam, but still with no confirmed release date. Spooky season is around the corner… And we bring terrific news! We’ve been working on it for a long time and it’s finally time to make it official: GYLT is going multiplatform in 2023! The idea of the game moving over to Xbox seems quite likely, as it would surely thrive on Game Pass for consoles, cloud, and PC. There’s no word on which platforms will get the game, but it seems reasonable to expect a debut on PC and popular consoles. Sometime in 2023, Gylt will become a “multiplatform” game as it expands past Stadia. It was well-received on the whole but was a full exclusive to Google’s platform, unlike the many timed exclusives that Stadia managed over its lifetime. Gylt was a horror game that launched exclusively on Stadia as a launch title for the platform. In a brief announcement today, Tequila Works, the studio responsible for Gylt, confirmed the game will live on beyond Google Stadia. Update: Gylt has been confirmed to come to Steam. Today, we’re getting confirmation that Google Stadia’s very first exclusive, Gylt, will be ported to other platforms next year. Following the abrupt shutdown of Google Stadia, there have been a whole lot of questions and not quite enough answers regarding the future of the platform’s few exclusive games. ![]()
